Ingredients

400g Frozen Edamame beans (whole)

20ml Tamari we recomend Organic Tamari

20ml Sesame Oil

30g Sesame Seeds

10g Brown Sugar

5g Sea Salt Flakes we recommend Hamamishio Moshio

Zest of 1 lemon

Method

  1. in a big pot of salted boiling water blanch the edamame for 1 MINUTE, onnce done, refresh in chilled water.

  2. Place a large pan or wok on the stove over medium head, add in the sesame seeds and cook till coloured. add in the sesame oil, tamari , brown sugar and edamame. Cook till sauce thickens and the Edamame starts to blister.

  3. Finish off by grating fresh lemon zest and a good sprinkle of Hamamushio Moshio sea salt
